The Lagos State House of Assembly has commended the Executive Chairman of Isolo LCDA, Olasoju Adebayo, for his robust and far-reaching healthcare policies that have redefined medical care at the grassroots level.

The commendation came on Wednesday when the House Committee on Health, led by Hon. Musbau Lawal, paid an oversight visit to the council secretariat.

The lawmakers, who were warmly received by Olasoju alongside the Council’s Medical Officer of Health (MOH), Dr. Anne Okonma, and the Council Treasurer, Mr. Moruf Ajiga, among other officials, expressed delight with the council’s healthcare initiatives. These include the upgrade of the healthcare facilities, regular medical missions for residents, monthly comprehensive care for the elderly program and the provision of essential medical equipment to Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs), among other achievements.

While applauding the council chairman, the visiting lawmakers urged him not to rest on his oars but to sustain the momentum in the health sector for the continued benefit of residents.

In his brief response, Olasoju reiterated his unwavering commitment to ensuring quality healthcare delivery across the council area.

Other members of the visiting team included Hon. Ogunleye Gbolahan (Ikorodu I) and Hon. Femi Saheed (Kosofe).
