Thurs., 4th Sept., ‘25
The Mayor of Isolo LCDA, Olasoju Adebayo, was among dignitaries present at the Oshodi/Isolo Constituency II Stakeholders’ Meeting organized by the lawmaker representing the constituency at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Barr. Oladipo Olayinka Ajomale. The event, which held at the Toly Palace Event Centre, NNPC, Ejigbo, drew a large audience from across the political wards of Isolo and Ejigbo LCDAs, including religious leaders, youth groups, trade associations, and other community stakeholders.
In his remarks, Olasoju commended Hon. Ajomale for raising the bar of legislative representation since assuming office, through qualitative engagement and impactful developmental initiatives.
“This annual Stakeholders’ Meeting is a laudable initiative of the Lagos State House of Assembly. Over the years, it has strengthened the bond between our representatives and their constituents. The visionary leadership of Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa deserves commendation, especially as this forum has now reached its 10th year. The meeting serves as a veritable feedback mechanism for lawmakers, and it is indeed commendable.
“I must applaud Hon. Oladipo Ajomale for upholding the ideals of legislation by remaining responsive to the needs of his people. He continues to complement our strides at the grassroots by amplifying our concerns in the hallowed chamber while facilitating and initiating developmental projects,” Olasoju stated while speaking to journalists on the sidelines.
Speaking on the theme of the epoch-making event, “Governance in Action: The Gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda,” Olasoju aligned with the lawmaker in urging constituents to sustain their faith in the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting the tangible progress already being recorded.
“We have just heard our lawmaker remind us of the strides of Mr. President under the Renewed Hope Agenda. That alone should encourage us to remain resolute in our belief in the administration. The gains of these reforms are evident, and they can only get better. At the grassroots, we will continue to complement both federal and state efforts to make life more meaningful for our residents,” Olasoju added.
A major highlight of the event was a financial empowerment programme through which no fewer than 100 constituents received support to boost their livelihoods.
The historic gathering also had in attendance Olasoju’s counterpart in Ejigbo LCDA, Hon. Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo; former Ejigbo LCDA Chairman, Hon. Monsurudeen Oloyede Bello; as well as APC leaders and other stakeholders from Isolo and Ejigbo LCDAs.
