Healthcare Delivery: November ‘Care For The Elderly’ Records Yet Massive Turnout

Senior citizens of Isolo Council Area today turned out in their numbers to benefit in the Council\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s November edition of its popular health outreach - \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'Care For The Elderly\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' to have their health challenges addressed as they did last month.
Addressing the beneficiaries, some of whom were seated as early as 8am, Olasoju, humbled by the warm reception meted out on his arrival, thanked his guests for their attendance as he urged them to rather see the programme more as their right from the government than privilege. The council boss promised to continue prioritising the health of his constituents to ultimately have the council area rid of common killer diseases.
He went on to urge the elders to be more mindful of their dietary habits as he hinted that next month’s edition will feature dietary talk and yuletide palliative among many other improvements.
Earlier in his remarks, the Council Vice Chairman and Supervisor for Health, Hon. Shakir Sadiq urged the beneficiaries to spread news about the program to more of their contemporaries in the community adding that the Olasoju administration is resolved to keep prioritising their welfare.
In her words, the Council Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Anne Okonma who was represented by Apex Nurse, Mrs. Bola Lawal, charged the beneficiaries on orderliness assuring that broad medical services and enough medications to meet their needs have been procured.
Among the health services on the day\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s menu were blood-pressure check, Prostate cancer, Diabetes and Eye screenings, as well as Weight Check, consultation and free medication etc.
