The vast premises of Faronbi Primary School on Olushi Street, Isolo, was filled to the brim as thousands of members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) across the 20 political wards in Oshodi-Isolo LGA gathered for a mega meeting.

The gathering which was the LGA meeting of The Mandate Moment was hosted by the Executive Chairman of Isolo LCDA, Olasoju Adebayo. 

While welcoming the throng of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s core loyalists, Olasoju explained that the meeting had become important to discuss crucial issues that will ensure President Tinubu\\\'s smooth sail to victory in 2027 and the party’s overall success at the polls. Reeling out the president’s strides across all sectors, Olasoju impressed on the audience that Asiwaju has done impressively well to deserve re-election stressing that the caucus must be at the vanguard of galvanizing support for him.

The council boss refreshed the minds of the audience on the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, the National Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), among other initiative undertaken by the federal government to make living more meaningful for all as well as the increment in council’s monthly allocation which he said has allowed the various council chairmen to deepen the dividends of democracy in the grassroots urging  that all hands must be on deck to ensure that President Tinubu remains in office till 2031. 

While asserting  that any politician without a Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC)  unarguably lacks electoral value, the council honcho called on those who do not have a PVC especially those who had just attained the voting age of 18 or those who misplaced theirs or has one or two issues to rectify to make most of the ongoing registration window, adding that the hallmark of anyone’s support for President Tinubu and the party is their electoral value. Among other issues that were also brought to the fore at the meeting was APC e-membership registration and well as the party’s forthcoming Congress. 

The council boss concluded by harping on the importance of unity among the leaders and members of the caucus and the party to reclaim Oshodi-Isolo-Ejigbo’s status as one of the powerhouses of votes for the party come 2027. 

Also, in their remarks subsequently, Olasoju’s counterpart in Ejigbo LCDA, Hon. Taoheed Taiwo and the former Hosue of Assembly member who represented Oshodi-Isolo Constituency 1, Hon. Hakeem Shokunle lent their voices to Olasoju’s call for unity, PVC registration and other agenda discussed. 

On his part, the group’s leader in Isolo LCDA, Comrade Monsuru Agbabiaka announced that henceforth till Tinubu’s victory in 2027, the group will be known as “Sustainable Agenda” with the slogan going thus: “Sustainable agenda…Tinubu 2027” “Tinubu 2027…. Total Loyalty.”

Other leaders of the group in attendance included the LGA Chairman; Chief Olohunoje, the Secretary; Hon. Samson Agbetoye, High Chief Mojeeb Adams, Elder S . Ogunlolu and Alhaja Salawa Olusesi, Alh Segun Aribidesi, Dr. Olusunmade, Alhaja Tola Onabanwo and Wasiu Onibudo among others.
