LG POLLS: OLASOJU RECEIVES APCS FLAG AS PARTY\'S STANDARD FLAG-BEARER, EXPRESSES OPTIMISM OF APCS FLAWLESS VICTORY AT POLLS

The incumbent chairman of Isolo LCDA, Olasoju Adebayo, on Tuesday, received the flag of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) confirming him as the party’s standard flag-bearer in the upcoming July 12 local government elections across the 57 LGAs and LCDAs in the state.
Olasoju, alongside his running mate and incumbent vice chairman, Hon. Shakir Sadiq Adeola, was joined at the epochal event held at the Party’s secretariat on ACME Road, Ogba, Lagos by the LGA Chairman, Barr. Gani Bello and other party officials, revered Isolo political leader, Otunba Jide Oni, as well as the seven Councillorship candidates and other stakeholders.
The event was also graced by the state governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu ably represented by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Bimbo Salu-Hudeyin, the Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), the state’s executives, religious leaders and artisan leaders across the state among other stakeholders.
The major highlight was the presentation of the party’s flag to the party’s 57 Chairmanship and vice chairmanship candidates across the state as the party’s Financial Secretary, Banjo Adedoyin Wasiu, joined by the other political leaders carried out the task of presenting Olasoju and Sadiq with the flag.
Elated by the party’s reaffirmation of his landslide victory at the primary elections held last month, Olasoju dedicated his candidacy to the entire residents of Isolo LCDA as he appreciated the party leaders for the opportunity to fly the flag yet again.
The council boss reiterated his commitment to upholding the party’s ‘progressive’ ideology in the next four years by building on the qualitative governance he institutionalized in the past four years.
While expressing absolute optimism that APC will cruise to a landslide victory come Saturday 12th July the council boss reaffirmed his readiness to further electioneering activities with the party officials ahead of the fast approaching elections.
