OLASOJU LEADS COUNCIL OFFICIALS, PARTY LEADERS, OTHER POLITICAL LEADERS ON CONDOLENCE VISIT TO FAMILY OF LATE PIONEER CHAIRMAN OF OSHODI-ISOLO, CHIEF MARTINS ADEGBOYEGA

The Mayor of Isolo LCDA, Wednesday, led a delegation comprising council officials, LGA executives of the All Progressives Congress and other political leaders on a condolence visit to the Ajao Estate residence of the departed pioneer chairman of Oshodi-Isolo LGA, Chief Martins Ayoade Adegboyega.
Condoling the family, Olasoju described their patriarch as a thoroughbred politician whose remarkable impact in politics have been nothing short of inspiring. The council boss added that the late ex-council boss’s legacy remains indelible in the annals of Oshodi-Isolo’s political history, noting that his courage to serve during the military regime of General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida paved the way for the progress being enjoyed across the local governments carved out of the old Oshodi-Isolo LGA today.
He further remarked that Chief Adegboyega was not only a political leader but also a mentor and father figure to many who have gone on to distinguish themselves in public service.
Olasoju urged members of the bereaved family to take solace in the enviable life of service, integrity, and selflessness their late patriarch lived, stressing that his good name and enduring legacies will continue to speak for generations to come.
On behalf of the government and good people of Isolo LCDA, the mayor prayed for the peaceful repose of Chief Adegboyega’s soul and the fortitude for the family to come to terms with his departure.
Other members of the delegation included the Party Chairman, Barrister Gani Bello; the pioneer executive chairman of Isolo LCDA, Chief Modupeola Oseghale; the Councillor representing Ajao Estate, Hon. Adeolu Ikugbayigbe; former APC Chairman, Alhaji Wahab Raji; and Former CDC Chairman, Alhaji Fatai Abisiga among others.
