The Executive Chairman of Isolo LCDA, Hon. Adebayo Olasoju, on Thursday bagged a coveted Special Recognition Award at the 10th anniversary celebration of Carabana Lounge. 

The lounge situated at 16 Baale Sekoni Street, Ajao Estate, was established on the 12th of September 2015. 

 

According to the management, the award was presented in acknowledgment and appreciation of Olasoju’s impactful business-friendly policies as well as his administration’s efforts in providing key infrastructural facilities that have supported the growth of enterprises within Isolo community over the years.

The grand celebration, held at the exquisite Toly Palace, NNPC, Ejigbo, served as the climax of a six-day event organized to commemorate the lounge’s decade of growth and to appreciate its loyal customers and dedicated workforce.

Receiving the award, the council boss expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Executive Officer of Carabana Lounge, Chief Promise Nwobu a.k.a Ogede, describing the establishment as one of the fastest-growing hospitality enterprises within Isolo LCDA. He congratulated the management on the milestone, assuring the management of continued government support through sustained infrastructural development and business-enabling policies aimed at fostering socioeconomic growth in the council area as he  commended the management for maintaining a high standard of excellence in service delivery over the years.

“This award came to me as a surprise, but as a government that remains determined to make life more meaningful for our people, we will continue to do what we know best - ensuring security, good road networks, and other basic amenities that allow businesses to thrive. Thank you so much,” Olasoju remarked.

The council chairman also felicitated the staff members of Carabana Lounge, many of whom were recognized for their diligence and dedication to job, urging them not to relent in upholding professionalism and excellence.

Earlier, a minute silence was observed in honour of the late Osolo of Isolo, His Royal Majesty Oba Kabiru Alani Agbabiaka, in recognition of his immense contributions to the advancement of business activities and community development during his reign.
